One thing ive taken from Cheap Trick and many others, is that a song is a song with a certain vibe and "rules" of sorts etc. To an "old timer" like me.Robin Zander was what came to mind for the term "Rock Star" The band "ELO" has a similar vocal style but with a more polished studio vibe with Beatles influence Essentially a quirky band with mixed influences but overall a strong Beatles influence. Let's Rock it!Ĭheap Trick.if you only know "I want u to want me" then u dont know Cheap Trick lol. I'm really excited about this collaboration opportunity. Yeah Verse 1 Think I only want one number in my phone I might change your contact to 'Don't Leave Me Alone' You said you like my eyes and you like to make 'em roll Treat me like a queen, now you. But I know I can improve it with more practice. But I really loved the final result, although I'm not 100% satisfied, especially with the last "can't you see" before the chorus. I felt really at home with it that I barely practiced (focused mostly on the chorus), and recorded while I was reading the lyrics. I heard that Def Lep song about a month ago while I was checking out some nice covers, and got hooked. I don't know much about Cheap Trick besides "I want you to want me", but Zep, Def Lep, and Whitesnake are no doubt my favs. I love the soft vibe in the chorus but I dont think I want such a heroin vibe on this song lol. Never heard this song before though I have seen the title before. Of course, with me it doesnt matter who I try to borrow from because it just sounds like me anyway, BUT with you guys vox it will sound unique It does not store any personal data.Im feeling around for a vibe for this song.so far looking in the Cheap Trick/Zeppelin/Def Leppard/Whitesnake family tree.
